I was just wondering, what actually is it that makes the Range Rover better than the alternitives of other nations...the Japs have ultra tech, The yanks have a huge history with the Jeep, and the germans....well..theyre german!!!! But just what is it that makes the Range Rover the 4x4 of choice?

They can be fine tuned ( if required ) by the techs that install them. After just having one fitted, im finding the RR to have more speed power and seems to better on fuel.

The thing about the "tunit" tho is that its easily removed so you can take it from car to car if you deside to upgrade or sell.

No sat nav mate, il have to try and get hold of a owners handbook i think.

I just meant that the "tunit" unit might give you some decent gains mate. Iv never driven a 2.5 dt, is there really that much difference?

How do i zero the trip computer..for average speed..fuel consumption ect..iv tried holding the button in but the word " PROG " appears and nothin much else happens.

I just had a "tunit" chip fitted...its a plug and play thing so can be removed anytime...more bhp more torque and 10% more mpg. I could feel the difference straight away...went from the standard 177 bhp to 215..from 289 lbs/ft to 322 lbs/ft .not bad for something thats fitted in minutes!!!!

After talkin to a guy that fits the "tunit"(hes independent and says he has one on his van ) he says it safely ups the power from 177 bhp to 215 with gains to mpg so all good

Ha Ha, I Just sold my TVR.....that was noise and power...lookin for comfort and a little bit more go.

Thanks for the reply SpudH, i think im riffraff with a Diesel ha ha...hey but i like it. The tunit thing is a plug in chip with 25% gains accourding to the website. Im gona give them a phone today. The Bling thing...nope im not going overboard..just enoughto change the car to " put my mark on...
