To put this one to bed. It was the cracked exhaust manifold that caused both issues. The old girl passed the MOT today and is back on the road with a massive smile on my face.

Ok, so after a fiddle (now its daylight), if I hold the door lock up, then use the door handle, the door will open. Is this the famous spring that has gone ir is it just a mechanism in the door gone dry and needs lubricating??? Thanks John

I get around 14mpg mixed motorway and back roads, I havent got any complaints about LPG, its a pain in the arse if your going somewhere where LPG stations are few and far between but the savings in running costs are pretty good.

Fair point, will get it booked in as soon as. Bloody thing drives me mad, one day runs fine, next day engine struggles like mad on lpg. Don't know why im complaining its not the first time this has happened lol. Cheers John

When my 3.9 V8 had this problem it turned out to be the o2 (oxygen)(lamba) sensors. I changed everything from the fuel filter, plugs, leads, maf sensor, you name it, after a couple of hundred quid thrown at it, it turned out to be the lamba sensors. John
