the doors are not brilliant - the drivers one has an ally plate riveted over the join between the door top n bottom - dunno how rusty yours are but if you want pix of these doors just ask steve@fryske.wanadoo.co.uk 07722 882 792

i bought it for the engine - the chassis has a few lacy bits shall we say - as most of this era (x reg) seem to.......

anyone know what the weight of a 2.5NA diesel (15J) is?? I want to get hold of a stand for it and don't want to squash the stand! Presumably the stands (Clarke etc) have a quite a big safety margin over their "limits"?? cheers steve

i have a 2.5 freight rover (15J) engine in my shed -- it's missing its brake vacuum pump would one from a 2.5NA land rover engine fit? anyone know where i can get one or a part number? / price? cheers

right - i have a 2.25 petrol in my s3. I would like to put in a diesel - either a 2.25 diesel or 2.5 NA one are the 2.5 diesels much better than the 2.25's in terms of power, smoke etc? what mods are needed to get the 2.5 in?? anyone got any links to previous threads or any ideas? cheers

can anyone tell me what each coloured wire at the wiper switch does? there looks to be one supply wire, - green one for high speed, - green / blue one for low speed - red / green and one other ..... whats this?? - brown / green also - the wipers do not "park" - any ideas...
