Unfortunatley it now wont start. it did start for me to check that the box was ok and i just pulled forward and back a few feet but since then it seems starter motor is stuck. checked all connections and charged battery but it just...

Right just got in from having a fiddle with transfer box. Took the tin cover off and found that the hi/low lever is moving free and the yellow linkage is moving and seem free but the other shaft is not moving at all and is sticking out about 40mm. I have soaked it and cleaned it but no luck...

having a bit of trouble with me landy as it wont disengage 4 whel drive. Is it possible that the gearbox is too far forward as the red lever is hitting the bulkhead and not allowing the yellow lever to pop back up or at least thats my conclusion. the lever pulls back into 4wd low and the yellow...

how difficult is it to fit new door pillars to a series landy. Just been rubbing mine down for a paint job and realised the off side one is rotten. Got access to a welder but im not a specialist just a below par potcher.

mine was the same, after bleeding the brakes it was the same. I found out it was the adjusters in the drum if its not one its the other.

which part of wales you heading for ? if you can go through brecon enjoy the roads and views but watch out for the 2 wheelers if its fine there will be thousands about.

thats a bit steep my brother got his own garage and does welding. He had an old 90 in last month needing a new crossmember 2 new outriggers and variouse patches and the bill was about £550. I bet theres someone on here living local that could weld it up for a few beers.

i have a perkins prima out of a montego does anyone know where i can buy an exhaust for it. I have made a patch job but it is hanging too low to go off road, and im useless at potching with it myself.

sorry didnt notice your oil prob, i use 20/50 in mine as the engines are old now and it seems fine. The other prob i had was oil coming out of the breather pipe check that if it is give the engine a flush with forte worked for me.

all done at last (for now) new dumb iron on drivers side and repaired the end cap on the passengers side. And for bonus points ground the rest back as far as the fuel tank and no rust so sealed it all up, bit more next weekend now but its drivable again.

ive just put my series 2a back on the road and it runs with the same engine, with diesel starts with about 3 seconds of glo plugs but now im using veg oil its the same symptoms as yours. I think its just a case of mixing more diesel with it as it is cold in the mornings.

Can put one through you indicators as well how many times ive left those on.

my 2.25 petrol been left out for 2 years pity as it was really good only changed it for better economy will have to strip it down and check for water damage incase petrol prices come back down. (joke)
