Iv just replaced the slave/master cylinder on my freelander and now the clutch is sponger and won't go in to gear.

That's right.iv put a new clip on and it all looks good.a friend sat in car and pressed the clutch a few times and its moving freely and I can't see any signs if leeks from any were.

Hi iv just purchased a freelander 2000 1.8 petrol. Iv just replaced The clutch and slave cylinder complete set. I noticed the fluid was low in the top so I topped it up.started the car and now the clutch is very spongey and won't go into gear.any suggestions. Cheers gaz.
