How to start an engine in winter

Dave, I'm not wishing to sound rude mate, but I've read the OP a few times and it doesn't make sense when I swap injectors for spark plugs........... If your at the bottom of the hole and the sides are collapsing, put the spade down and stop digging;)

    Changing clutch cylinders

Well, my van goes off the road tomorrow when the insurance swaps over, so I'm looking forward to the new master cylinder arriving for the Disco to see if it improves the pedal. Bargain.........£31.00 for an OEM cylinder. Hooray for Ebay!

I'm still waiting on the reply from HMRC about the use of engine oil as fuel. In the mean time I had a solicitor friend go over the wording.............doesn't look good for the use of anything other than veg oil:(

    Changing clutch cylinders

I was about to strip the slave again and then gave it some more thought. The system must be designed to move the push rod and thus the release arm a given distance when the clutch pedal is pressed. This made me think.......even if the push rod was lengthened (or shortened), surely all that...

I am also going with Chaucer direct. They were the only one's I could find who would accept my full no claims bonus from a commercial policy. Also adding the spouse on saved £160 ( it must be a spouse not just a named driver).............still £600 and I am 47, and got all the qualifications...

    Changing clutch cylinders

Thanks for taking the time to trawl through my questions. If I had clutch set up to view on a bench I would know all the answers. The problem is just not being able to see it through the slave mounting. I will probably be fitting a master cylinder in due course, regardless. I don't suppose you...
