Done a few of these lately ive been tapping them and using screw in 90 degree fittings

Sounds like your spider unit has been playing up on previous posts, maybe the dash change has disturbed it enough for it not to work any more. Try taking it apart and looking for dry solder joints or something not plugged in properly. short of that its quite easy to bypass one it is removed.

If the warning lights coming on try checking the wiring/connectors around the crank sensor and tps maybe take em apart and give them a spray may have corroded if kept in damp conditions. Also check ECU relay and fuel pump relay and earths

Could also be your fuel filter, in tank pump or the playstation pedal

oh and swivel pins?

Have you checked all the ball joints, tightened up the box? and checked the trailing arm bushes and panhard rod bushes?

I would get a landcruiser 4.2 loadsa power, lockers, strong axles/trans, comfort, easily moddable..........landrovers are pants really
