    Diesel/ veg oil thing?

Good man Red. That's a pretty clear response to the question. Thank god thats cleared up. It's also about having alternatives. A few years ago they were fighting in the streets after 2 weeks shortage of fuel. There appears to be only a thin veneer of civilised behaviour that holds the country...

    Diesel/ veg oil thing?

If I hadn't bought a smart veg kit I would have mixed it in the one tank. Its really easy. Mine starts and runs on diesel utill warm enough, then switches over to veg. Its real neat but costs a bit. I got a bust one off ebay and fixed it. Shame I knew nothing about the land rover fuel system...

    Great MPG!!!!!!!!

Superb, BMW's, Mazerati's, I can aford neither. Land rover 90, 55 -60 mph, approx 27 mpg. I've been thinking about digital throttles, I was thinking what would have a digital throttle. A space shuttle? MPG who knows?

    Great MPG!!!!!!!!

Ah think thats the point. It doesn't matter how many mpg you get, if you can't afford to run it, you can't afford to run it. But it is important to understand how much you use. even if its thinkin, fook!, that ran oot quick. I must admin I was taken aback at the way land rovers drink fuel...

    Great MPG!!!!!!!!

I'm currently keeping a log of diesel and veg quantities i'm using and the number of miles being driven. Been at it for about a week and I'm gonna log it for about a month. Then I'll do the maths. knowing what your fuel consumption is is important. Thats why Eddie Stobart's always complaining...

    want a winch

He he hee, I might know feck all about land rovers but I can recognise a heavy expensive piece of engineering when i see it. Been playing with it this morning. Needs a good oil n it'll be reet. So if I'm expected to be a good samaritan in the winter and drag dumb *unts out of ditches, do I...

    want a winch

Thanks for the explanation. When I bought it the fella said that if I didn't want it he knew a man that did and would knock a load of money off the price. Mi mate said to keep the winch as I could always sell it later miself. There is a nob under the drivers seat near the handbrake that links to...

    I'm Impressed

Nice one Pos, was it relativly easy to fit them. Mine (at the last count) took 23 seconds for the relay to go 'ding'. so I'm thinking I night do mine, well, more like add it to the bottom of the existing list. Thanks
