what about the 2nd hand pump for £55 when it looked like a new one (£300 ) my new one only cost me £175

£2100 for the y reg rangey with that spec etc, some sort ot set up???????

when we looked at getting a new box for my old mans as one side had rusted away kwik fit list both boxes (left and right) as will fit petrol and diesel, the hangers are all ready on the car just need the rubber hangers to go on to the mounts on the chassis

hi guys i got a ford ka thats turboed and i got a bloke wanting to swap it for another p38 dse t&t,leather, tints, towbar, its a r reg with 120k on the clock. ive just got rid of 1 and got a chance of another what would you do or do i take cash and run

disconnect the battery as that could blow your alternator or damage the becm and have a bucket of water/fuel for the fire delete as applicable

hi guys a mate has got a range rover classic he wants to break its got leather interior in and was wondering how much it is worth its brown and in pretty good condition

for the exhaust there is companys out there that will make it to what you want extreme,powerflow, custom exhausts they all do them loud quiet different tail pipes. as for the cat on the other car due to its age you should get away with out it

why dont you buy the spare wheels from p38 as they are supplied with a steelie for a spare

it can be reconditioned but the places i tried would not guarantee it due to the electrical connection meets the injector, i had one done and it was just as bad so ended up buying another and that cured it.

ive never had any problems with britpart filters and i change all mine about 6 times a year due to the mileage i do (3000 miles a month)

yes where the electrical part of the injector is , is the weak spot ive had to replace mine a couple of times, easy to change

could it be a prototype p38

i got a new key from the stealers a while ago and that came with the sticker on the back saying key 1 and they came outside and made sure it worked in the car fine before i left them and never been a problem since

i did mine recently and it took about 2 hours from start to finish did it on my drive with normal tools and a trolley jack

when i took the old pump out it connected it up to a live and earth and it only managed a small squirt every now and again but the new one on same test supplied a nice stream

just put a new pump in the tank and it fired up lovely and really easy left it ticking over for half hour, then went down the road for a 20 mile drive and guess what it was sweet never missed a beat never lost power well worth £55 for a pump and about 2 hours work to fit it job done and happy again

put a new fuel filter on today,tried a relay out of other rangey thats working (at mo) and cracked off the pipe what goes to the injector pump turned the ignition on and nothing tried it a dozen times then it start to pump diesel for a second then stopped tried again for at least a dozen times...

when its died and trying to start it again it takes a fair while to fire up as if its run out of diesel and trying to bleed itself again

i change the filters every 5k so will try that again did flush it thru yesterday when it died on the side of the road,was also going to check the fuel pump relay under bonnet but not sure if it does the tank pump or the lift pump
