Yes Ive had that experience already with the plugs! Anyway, further to the above a break in the wire from the coil to the dizzy was the culprit for part of the problem. Got it going again, checked all filters, had the carb to bits and still worked when put together! No muck anywhere but still...

Possibly, I had that done a while ago and it has been spot on until the lift pump was changed.... maybe now it is getting plenty of petrol up the carb is knackered and can't cope..? PS thanks for all your responses, I'm still learning so it's much appreciated..!

I've had the pipe off and the petrol is reaching the carb, I will clean the carb out and see what happens..
