bought a steering guard off ebay

glad i read this. very helpfull. Not had my Landy long but i have had no idea how to start it until now. It came with this strange key shape thing and didn't have a clue what it was. Also where is the "hood" i have checked under the BONNET but couldn't find it.

got the hammerite out to paint rear bumper and tow bar. next i need to figure out how my battery is keeping charge while i have 2 loose wires in back of alternator

fitted a bonnet guard and bought a Haynes manual

ah that could have been it. i could select the gears but just had no drive

no diff lock was off

dont know what i did. but i would like it not happen again lol

Disco has been runnng spot on since i got it. drove it home last night and decided to free up my diff as it had siezed. Got diff sorted so i could at least move the stick. However afterwards i couldnt engage any gear at all from gear box. It wasnt until i engaged and then disengaged the diff...

took boot carpet out to check full extent of rust. wish i hadnt. new boot floor me thinks come pay day. straightend up spare wheel cover coz it wasnt level and annoyed me. Febreezed imterior as previous keeper smoked.. i don't t-cut driver door to cover scratch mrs did ggrrr
