Could be injectors leaking back too much fuel,do a leak test on them,can buy kits of eBay or cheap.

When I did mine,I didn't use any special tools,there is a big washer connected to your drive shaft just centralise that within the axle case,should only be few mm either side ,can't go far off ,the oil seal behind is very flexable,wouldn't think it would leak from there unless way too much oil...

As saint said listen for both fuel pumps working ,one is under Neath rear seat on drivers side,the other just in front of rear wheel passenger side,under Neath you can take the 2 bolts out of cover and feel to see if its working,next I would be doing a leak off test to check injectors.if you...

Your better to open the ecu up and make sure the tornado chips are still in it,previous owner might have removed them and put the standard ones back in ,pretty sure they are straight forward swap,might just be the sticker that's left.

Remember to mark the position of the bolts before you slacken them,because when you turn them it adjusts your camber ,as the washers are off cantered .

No need to run it out of gas,there are shut off solenoids in it ,one at tank and one on vapouriser,only a small amount of gas will escape from vapouriser to engine,wear gloves when you disconect it,just ease it off a little at a time till pressure drops.

What nexia kit did you end up using?was it clarion harmon kardon that was originally installed?2 pre outs or 3 pre outs?thanks
