On closer inspection the propshaft is fooked too, the UJ has broken through the side of one of the yokes. Found this one: FTC3245 | 110in Rear propshaft Doesn't say what make it is though, is it ****part?

Without difflock all the power will just be spun away through the rear output. Just been for a drive, not too bad actually, fair bit of torque steer though even when just 'kissing' the throttle lol.

Just been out in the landy, long story short a UJ has failed on the rear proshaft. I'm about to take the propshaft off, but as this is our main car and a daily driver I'm intending to engage the difflock and run FWD until I replace the UJ. It'll only be local and for a day or too, am I risking...

Yes. Didn't need to go far, and they were pretty solid on there anyway even without the cords (some of them had already been removed when I took the pics).

It's out near Chippenham: Foxham 4x4 - Home There is a good variety of routes etc and a lot of it is doable on A/Ts, my big old bus 110 did fine there on A/Ts, I haven't actually been yet since fitting the M/Ts, I'll be going again in January though.

Been looking for something like this myself, I go to Salisbury plain quite regularly and do Foxham pay and play every couple of months.

Looks almost identical to the Champion CT12000 clone that I have. Sure, it's no Warn but it's fine for getting you out of the **** occasionally.
