Is that a big job to diy or better getting a garage to do it?

changed the gearbox oil which didnt look a nice colour and fitted a new fuel filter

i had the same problem with mine and i removed the switch, cleaned all the rubbish off it and put it back, its been ok since.

Changed the air filter, oil filters and oil. When i bought the vehicle 3 months ago the stealer claimed he would service it first but looking at the state of the filters it hasnt been done for a long time :mad:

I only got this one as it has a nice flat base for carrying things, im not planning on any expeditions. I found a sheet of 8x4 wood fits inbetween the side rails and dosnt move or bend unlike carrying it on my old roof bars,

Ive got a Big Country rack which i ordered from Big Country Defender 110 Expedition Roof Rack and is very well made and can easily take 2 people walking about on it and the ladder is well made and hides the number plate from speed cameras :)

Fitted new front bulkhead vent seals and bolts after having to cut the old bolts off as they had rusted in :(

ive been looking for new suspension and i emailed a few companies with questions and mailorder4x4 were the only ones to get back to me and have been very helpful. Hopefully my new suspension kit will be here soon which i ordered from them :)

Thanks for all the ideas. I have borrowed a couple of high lift jacks today and the movement between each step is too much to adjust the height so i think i will get 3 more standard jacks and use them. I did think about getting rock sliders with jacking points so i can level it from the sides...

I have tried a couple of bottle jacks but they need several bits of wood to get them high enough to reach the chassis. i found some nice motorhome leveling systems but they cost thousands!
