head gaskets been replaced already. i need to get rid of it asap and get a defender.

My freelander 2001 1.8 k Series (dont shout, it was free), is losing water. Every 100miles or so it needs topping up. The headgasket was replaced about 8 months ago. Im sure i read that the cracks in the expansion tank could cause the water loss but wanted to get some feedback before i buy a new...

if i wanted to search all day id google mate. budget is going to be around 5k. main use will be for getting to work and back and the odd trip. nothing major. I may give offroading a go but not something id really thought about..

Been after a defender for all my life really. my cars on the way out so figured what better time than now :) im torn between the 110 and the 90. the 110 is winning my heart mainly as id use it for a work van type too. can throw all me tools in the back and lengths of coving on the roofrack...
