Done nothing with the RR today. Such a nice day I've taken the other V8 to work... roof down of course.

Mine had a similar problem. It would unlock with the key, but not lock. Took the door card off, and the drivers door handle out. At the back of the key barrel someone had fitted a bit of metal strip. Drilled to screw into the back of the barrel, and with a hole in it for the actuator rod...

Could be a collapsed flexi hose.

Never used it on a V8, but I have used steel seal on a Rover 25 1.4 K series. The Daughter has one, and 18 months ago it had HGF. It was so bad you could see oil / water being pushed out between the head / block. Had to stop 3 times on a 7 mile journey getting the car home from her work...

Well not today but last Thursday the P38 paid for herself. Wife had a pre-op assessment booked at the Hospital, and overnight we had 8 inches of snow! Wouldn't have got there without the RR. She has developed a slight clunk from the front on take up of drive (the RR, not the wife)...

We have something like it in the Daughter's KA, it works very well. Even acts as hands free for the iphone, using the mic on the phone and the car speakers.

+ 1 on the RF receiver. I disconnected the blue wire, but still had issues. So I cut the orange signal wire from the RF to the BECM, placing (for now) a manual switch in it. (I will buy a remote relay someday) It does mean that I have to lock / unlock with the key (then press the switch...

Got to say I've got AT2's on my P38, brilliant tyres.

Got to admit, that I put a manual switch in the signal wire from the RF to the BECM. Now I only turn the RF on after unlocking with the key, so that I can press the fob and disarm the immobiliser. Might change over to a remote relay controlled by a second fob.

Does the SD card have a write protect tab/switch? If so try sliding it and then try to record to it again.

Forte flush, sump off, clean strainer and then try 20/50.
