Many thanks for the tip. I've got some old Oak blocks that I use, I'm going to cut them to the radius of the 18"'s using my spare. Good tip about drilling through and using a cable tie.

Yup, I'm used to non metric, having had MG's Triumphs, Rovers, TVR's etc. I remember changing the prop on a P6 Rover, when the bloody spanner slipped and hit my finger. I can safely say AF hurts just as much as metric, but at least you don't have to swear in French!!

I've already had it up high on the EAS to spray the nuts / bolts with plus gas, so even my powerfully built frame fits under. I have a couple of high lift axle stands, the bottle jack that came with the RR, and a 3 ton trolley jack that will all be going under before I do.

Just used exactly the same pump to do the transfer box. £1 each at JTF.

Changed oil in transfer box, greased up all UJ's checked oil in gearbox. Daughter gave the P38 a name. Hank, cos he's a big blue beast!

Switch the orange wire. I did a manual switch at first, whilst my ebay one (£4.73) came on a slow boat from China.

I use Valvoline VR1 20/50 in the TVR, have done or the last 9 years.
