I've tried the jumps leads on it but no luck. I thought the same but I can turn the engine over manually on the crankshaft. Its really bugging me now:(

Ive charged the battery and it's still the same (admitted it said it was full charged after an hour) it sounds as if the starter motor is jammimg. The solenoid throws it out then its not spinning the flywheel any ideas because im stumped! Ive even got the jump leads from my other car on it too...

Cheers. Ive been left with a dreaded head scratcher! Had the starter motor tested and its a goon 'un'! Its turning ovee but very slow so im hoping if I charge the battery over night it should do the trick but the battery I put on was good :confused:

I thought the same but ive tried another battery which I know is a good battery and still the same. But what amps ect would it need to be?

I tried the trusty hammer trick yesterday but came to no avail. Ive just phoned local scrappy £45 so if all else fails £45 is cheap enough. Is there an earth strap from the starter to the body or are they earthed on the engine? Sorry sjould of looked yesterday really :-/
