not sure about pcd, but all lr rims (apart from modern rangys, p38 on and d2) will fit eachother ive got 1ton rims on my hybrid, 4" offsett (2" each side) on the rims and 4" (2" each side) on the axles, 8" offsett than a lwb series...:D:cool: 1ton rims i would say, 16/7j

i reckon dumpers in the wet, but maxicross in the dry works best. Dumpers do have issues on sideslopes, but that can be corrected with a chainsaw... :D neither have been banned from our club events...:cool: and 235/85/16 is a pretty good size, not so big you need lifts and beat oiut the arches...

personaly i like either my 33"/9.5" dumper tyres for wet clay like ground, and my 36"/11" maxicross tyres for dryer stonier sites... oh did you mean tyres that will go on the road aswell? well simex's look like theyre a good medium, but your never going to get the best mud tyre that can be used...

i'd rather have the capstan for my series, i havent got a pto, while i can get one id rather have something that will fit as it is and ive just got a massive ramsey winch to go in the back, so just need a small one for the front, i cant realy make an offer just yet, but its not going anywhere...

hi, ive got a salisbury rear axle readly to go on my trialer, and have, for years, been looking at the cost of a front axle and been astounded at the prices they fetch. :eek: anyway... i seem to renember theyre 24 spline, is that right? and i was wondering if its the same as 300 tdi onwards 24...

when i took my series to its first outing after i built it on a rangy chassis i didnt have time to do the diffs so it was on 3.5:1's and irt felt gutles, in low range it just didnt pull well enough. but thats with 2.25 petrol, i but i find i blow diffs more than a guy running the same setup as...

its got 11 months t&t but apparently its a bit rough, i renember he mentioned something about the gearbox but it might have been another 1 of his countless discos... :o:D

i know hes deffo got a 200tdi and hes probably got a v8 so expect you could make a v8 disco out of his bits and bobs hes got... but im not sure if he wants the disco...
