To move the enginge round a socket on the alternator was easiest for me:) Hope this helps some others out there this was my first attempt at anything more than topping up washer fluid so feel free to point out where i went wrong!:D

cheers folks think il get a disco box later but iv not got the space to swap it anytime soon so il just leave the tranfer box just now an keep checking to make sure the leak doesnt get worse.

thinking about swapping for a disco box so i can use less revs at motorway speeds. Is it a difficult thing to swap over?

Is this my transfer box yeah?? (sorry pretty clueless!) Is it an easy job to fix a leaky seal which im presuming this is maybe not? Or am i better putting a disco transfer box in so i can go above 60 and still hear???:D

Im 23 with adrian flux an mine is £690 thpft but thats only cos of the roll cage daft orange paint and snorkle etc. they class me as high risk cos its an off road vehicle but my insurance doesnt count offroad anyway so dont see how that works???? A lot of people wouldnt insure me either

Thanks folks! It is a richards galv chassis so that does explain it but my new bumper has lugs that wont slide over the bows. i guess some brute force is required!:D
