Yeah, I flipped it back over but my button does not pop out and there is no firm ratchet any more, it is very hit and miss. I have to pull up the handbrake then hit it for the button to come out enough and lock it in position!!

Diff lock linkage from Ashcroft fitted yesterday. Shame the snow wasn't deep enough to try it out properly!! Just got to fix the damn rod inside the handbrake that goes to the button, reading on the forums I think I must have bent it inside when the ratchet went over limit and flipped inside...

Problem sorted. Was winding me up so had a torch lit look under the car. I may have been looking on top of the gearbox cos I found the right one on the transfer case now but I havent turned it yet. But what the hell have I been turning on top of the gearbox?!!!!!

I will try and take a picture tomorrow. But from feeling it, it feels as if there is no threaded part on the top of the flat sided spigot.

Should I try a little more force clockwise first? Also, as silly as it sounds I can get spigots mixed up can I? There are no other spigots up there??!!

Hi, I have fiddled with my spigot today as I want to buy a linkage. As looking from above it was fully clockwise, however if I turned it anti clockwise I managed to turn it 360 degrees and it still didnt stop, is this right or wrong? I didnt go any further as its a bit arkward on your back...

I had this exact problem, it made me think is was something serious!! I got a pair of mole grips on the wastegate actuator rod and worked it hard backwards and forwards and soaking it in Ambersil Amberglide, a PTFE based bubricant. I tried the same with WD40 which worked for a few days, but it...

When I got my D2 it would not rev over about 2900 rpm, this turned out to be a siezed waste gate. Tried the wd40 and pliers to free it which worked......for a day. This continued until I used Ambersil Amberglide on it, which is Teflon (ptfe) based, I used this twice on it while sliding it...

Just make sure you put it on nice and thick!!! lol

I didnt fancy black circles value choice! I had these hankooks on my Jeep and they shown little sign of wear over two years even with the tyres rubbing as the viscous coupling was shot. We will have to wait and see.......
