thanks gav when you say air gap what do you mean? it has a spark to all the cylinders and it ticks over fine but its a soon as you try and rev it of tickover it wont rev.

the airflow meter and filter are still their but the air box doesnt shut properly would this make a difference? it didnt with the old engine? its running on petrol at the moment he hasnt tryed swapping it over to lpg

i used the original flywheel. the cranksensor is one thats plugged straight into. its been code read and their no faults and its getting a reading from the cranksensor as that been checked on the comuter some how. surely the cranksensor wasnt reading then it wouldnt be ticking over fine?

the engine is a 96 and mine is a 97 i swapped the cranksensor over as the plug was different. my ecu was fine when the other engine was in?

thanks gav gave my mate a print out of what you said but now its running on 8 it ticks over fine but when you try to rev it it misfires slightly and wont rev? as well as it sounds like its sucking air from in the engine bay? please people any ideas dont care how strange they might seem.

its about the size of a pencil. ive been old it should be running along the top of my engine to the hrottle body. any one got any pictures of from under the bonnet near the throttle body or the routing of the hoses that goes to it? I havent got a clue its been that long since i had the engine out.

do i need to the remove the cross member that the exhausts are resting on at the moment?

So far today i spent alot of time removing the wiring loom as not to upset the lpg wiring. Lost loads of time with a bolt that rounded of on the plate that bolts to the gearbox. Has anyone here had to remove the sump to get to the torque converter bolts? i couldnt see any other way. Also hows...
