Little update engines in and she's alive! :) only problem is where I joined one of the power steering pipes it keeps blowing apart :/ any ideas?

I just bought a new number plate light fitting, all of the wiring behind is pretty damp and the connectors are pretty corroded so I'm going to start there I think. Thanks for your ideas doesn't sound as bad as I was thinking it would be

Just realised the disco had air con, how hard is this to fit to the fender? Guessing its best to just take the pump off while I'm doing the belts?

Forgot to say, my side lights just blow a fuse both sides do, which i believe means there is a live touching the bodywork somewhere, would this have something to do with it?

Removed the engine from the disco yesterday with a little help from the forklift at work Also made myself a little cradle to sit it in, save my buying and engine stand all went well except i managed to damage the rad slightly hopefully not too bad. On the little guide thing, it say extended...

If I could rig up a system that ment you had to do a combination of things to start your landy, eg press the brake indicate flash light and turn the radio on all in order would anyone be interested? You would be able to set it to anything and any order you wanted and maybe with a hidden bypass...
