If its knocking under breaking, I would assume something is loose. Ive had loose discs, wheel bearings and wheels on various cars I've driven which will all give a similar feel to the car. Wheels tend to fall off though and that is more noticeable. Go back through everything, haynes manuals...

The only bench seats Ive seen are the defender/series type which bolt down to the wheel arch and have brackets holding them to the sides of the tub. I cant think of any way of these fitting well in a disco as there arent any arches to attach them too really, as they need to be securely mounted...

Ha the yanks on that base do a lot of daft stuff, their bases are basically full american towns, drive on the wrong side, everything from clothes to food to cars is imported for them too, so i wouldnt expect much more really lol. Theres a nice place to shoot not far from one of their gates...

I swapped the 6x16 extra tractions on the series 3 to 7.50x16 general super all grips. The wheels are huge in comparison, and the truck looks much cooler.
