Sadly im in scotland. Anyone got a rear diff???

Its because i seen the light and disposed of that car.foolishly,i bought another one.

Looking for anyone north/south lanarkshire with p38 to share.help with usual issues.

So having checked the diff and found little broken peices of steel it appears the rear diff is gone.would the car sitting a few months cause the diff to seize?? Could there be another cause and finally.will i do further damage to anything else if i drive it to a garage to have it replaced?? Thanks.

After it had sat for a few months,i drove it 6 miles with no problem to have the alternator replaced.battery drain issue solved.now this banging/rear wheel/judder???

Hi. My p38 has lain for a few months with what i thought was battery drain issue however,new alternator and battery seems to have sorted the issue.took it for a run yesterday and have banging from rear wheel(s).rear wheel seems to be a bit jerky now mainl when turning??? Any ideas appreciated.

my 2001 disco2 td5 has started to set its alarm off for no apparent reason regardless of locking with key or fob?? i have looked at a few topics and seems to be sensors on doors?? any advice much welcomed. gracias!!

i gave mine a hard kick!! the alarm on my 2001 td5 disco has started to go off for no apparent reason???? goes off whether i use the fob or the key?? looked at a few posts on here and reckon sensors are to blame? why now,ive had it for 10 months,been great until now. neighbours not happy,lol...
