forget it, listing is bollocks, it'll only do engine ecu and not abs, air bag etc. It wont work on all land rover, almost certainly will work on freelander, definately wont work on td5 defender or discovery. I've just bought this and it claims to work on all vehicles, it doesn't! Although...

Clean out the idle air control valve. its the round thing on the top of the inlet manifold with 2 pipes and a plug on it. Take it off and wash it out with carb or brake cleaner.

halfords should have the paint you want. there are dozens of different spec mirrors for range rover, part number will be the only way to tell if you have the correct one.

The reason why both sides are down is because the blown air spring has taken out the height sensor aswell, a failed height sensor will make both sides drop.

The later freelanders are a big improvement over the early ones but still get a warranty, you'll be glad you did. Late freelanders are not overly troublesome but some things are expensive to fix and it's better to be safe than sorry.

Yes they're easy to fit but there is a point to watch to avoid instant failure of the cable. proceed as follows (5 door)....... remove the screw from behind the interior door handle and remove the trim carefully prise the door pull trim off and remove the screws from behind 05 models...

your pictures suggest it's a V8, Sounds to me like either head gasket(s) or a slipped liner as you have all the classic symptoms of this, take out the spark plugs and compare them, see if they're all the same colour. Do this after a run to get the engine hot, let it cool then take the plugs out...
