bloody hell, I'm all curious now, are there any markings on the clips itself which way it should go in to be clipped in correctly?

Yes flat out so i have an egr delete kit fitted. vacuum pipes? where are they? I don't hear the pump whining at any point but - bought a new fuel pump and filter today will fit and see if these bloody sort it. Bmw brether mod - waiting for it in the mail. - but checked the current breather...

Right, so I got hold of a complete brand new original bosch Maf sensor, stuck it in and car is now doing this: I unplug the maf, and it works well again, I replug it and the same happens. I connected the car to a proper diagnostics station and there are no faults to show, also on live data...

Understood Nodge68, and from what I understand the bosch unit is better for my bog standard, any recommendations from where I can get one from the UK, I'm biased overseas not sure if ill find locally. Thanks

I played around with maf connecting it and disconnecting it several times, and yes the car does work better without it...the whole problem disappeared. Until I find a replacement part, will I do any damage with the maf disconnected? Thank you very much

I was reading on some Land Rover Magazine, that BMW V8's actually can take a standard land rover gearbox... Can anyone explain this phenomenon please...and which bmw v8 models actually match rover gearboxes please. Thanks :)
