i can recommed a radio shop to contact who im sure can talk you through any problems.... you'll find his info at Charlie Bravos but i would also recommend staying away from ebay when buying cbs due to screwdriver experts... and i would also recommend a albercht 6890 any day... an little bit...

the reason i need to turn it down is over fueling, smoking, compression in the engine..... the list goes on. i can only think that someone with no idea turned it up too much. thank you very much for your replies.

hi all hoping someone may have an idea i believe my disco engine has been tweeked at some stage... i have been informed its somthing to do with over fueling and i need to turn down the injector pump ? i trust the guy who has told me this but before i go ahead with it i thought i would run it by...

you havent got a leak around your dip stick/alternator area have you ?

ive just test my new plug only got one working, so im hoping another new set will cure some of the smoking.

aye up joe yer im up for it.... went to bolton percy yesterday found a couple of lanes, only problem was the road was flooded, was too deep to drive through with out a snorkel too :( also theres a lane between oxton and acaster....

dont worry about me mate im not into laning to mess it up for everyone like some muppets ive met while ive been out, i'll stick to tong and kirton for that.... just trying to get out as my hobbie is photography, but not many boats in my area..... im off to see my local council tomorrow so...

hi sorry to bump into the defender forum but ive been having this problem with my disco 300tdi ive tried all these additives and new plugs still got the problem next stop valve guides/seals i think..... any of you guys think this is a step in the right direction ? cheers.

cheers very helpful stuff.... ive been glued to os maps since i got my disco in november but i have only found around 4 lanes in a 30 mile radius that are legal. (green crosses). i have one last question on the subject of lanes. theres a lane not far from me again green crosses was a nice lane...

cheers guys thought i might get more abuse than this for asking.... i take it the little green dots are a bit dodgy then ? oops been using these for a while now......

can anyone help im sure someone has posted this before but i cant find any info..... I'm trying to find some lanes in north/west yorkshire, i've found a few on the os maps marked with crosses, but most so far have been paved with just bad potholes, which hasnt been that fun. What i am trying...
