do you mean fuel pressure regulator ? no I am on manual pump .

had lots of problems with blocked jets and flooding.

I have the weber twin choke carb on a 2.5 in my series 2a and it has given me nothing but trouble, will the manifolds from a 2 1/4 engine fit. I am not looking for performance but reliability. Or is there another carb that will fit on the 2.5 manifold.

in the army some people complained about the noise of the tyres. the answer back was if you can only hear the tyres then you got a good one.

you say there are marks on the front shoes, is this along the whole length of the shoe or only in a small part. Sometimes they need rubbing down so they contact across the whole shoe. It sounds more like contact area than fluid problem.

sometimes need a very thin punch as the pin can rust in place.

it was first used on series 2 in aden. then the series 3 was converted for Rhodesia. mine was used in Rhodesia then Namibia, Beruit then NI

Very often spacer shims fitted there but may well have rotted out, they are made of ally. if every thing else fits ok then make up your own spacers to fit

perhaps somebody needs a 3/4 rear chassis?

fit electronic ignition as condensors can breakdown with age and even new old stock can be dodgy

on my series 2 the headlights fit behind the panel without a bowl . just an open metal housing with the adjusters holding it to the front panel
