How strong is the windscreen with the roof taken off ? Will it snap down onto my face at 70mph ?

Cool. Thats pretty much the conclusion that I had come to. If I really rough up the surface with sand paper I think it should be ok ? What sort of primer did you use on your application ? I will report back on the outcome. Cheers !!

The roof on my Truck Cab is very flexible and make a very loud booming noise if I drive over 60mph. I was thinking of riveting some strips of steel banding to the underside to strengthen it up. Anyone had any experience of this or offer any advice ? :scratching_chin:

What do you mean by "inside" ? I dont think the wall of the crossmember is strengthened at all as far as I can see. What I am most worried about is the face plate flexing the wall of the crossmember and deforming it.
