    Jeep 4.0 Engine

Looking for some advice toward installing a jeep 4.0 inline 6 into my Defender 110. The reason I want to use the Jeep 6 is due to the fact I have one sitting right here in my Grand Cherokee with only 90,000 miles on it in perfect working order. This is an utterly fantastic engine with a...

2001 discovery td5 misfire cutting out

Just a quick update... happy ending. It was the regulator. Either air was getting in, or the diesel leak was causing a lack of pressure. Perhaps both? Running sweet as a nut now... should be good for a while hopefully with all the common failure parts changed :)

2001 discovery td5 misfire cutting out

Hi... Previous owner has a receipt in file for a new fuel pump fitted only 6 months ago. We took the fuel pump out of the tank and all pipes look in good condition with no obvious leaks. We have fitted a new injector loom and new crush washers on the injectors... It has made no difference.

    Series truck cab to defender

here's a couple of pics from someone else who did it. They the modified the defender brackets for the screen and simply used series wiper arms.

    Series truck cab to defender

Yes it's for the classic look. Nothing to do with "tax exempt" though, I just prefer the aesthetics. Will let you know how it goes.

    Series truck cab to defender

Looking to fit a series truck cab to my 110 Defender as I prefer the look of the split screen and square rear window. I was told it should be a fairly straight swap but might have issues attaching the series screen to the defender bulkhead. Can anyone tell me what the problem might be...

What 4X4 for towing a horse box.....

Once towed a 110 rolling chassis with a 90... was an utterly horrible experience and will never do it again. The 90 has just too short of a wheelbase for safe, highway speed towing. The 110 or 130 are in a different league.

    Living with a hard top

Defenders are modular construction. You can always buy a hard top and convert it into a station wagon somewhere down the line. Alternatively you might find you like the space and practicality of the van. You csn always fit windows, or if you fancy a pickup truck, bolt a cab on instead.
