Have replaced in tank pump.have bled the valve on top of engine getting fuel no problem. Have cracked open the injector union's and I'm getting fuel to them but it still won't start.when I got this car 2 injectors on drivers side were taken out I looked at them and they seemed ok but I'm now...

I'm going to try old sender out of old tank and see if gauge moves then I'll have some indication that other sender might be bad !!

Sorry not tried sender yet.just that when I turn on ignition the needle moves very slightly to bottom of gauge.

Yes on this model you have to drop tank to get in tank pump out .same fitting and everything same as old pump.

Have noticed when I turn ignition on the fuel gauge needle does move very slightly to the bottom of the gauge.

Have checked electric plug connector all seems fine gauge still flashing and needle does not move yet on old tank had 1/4 tank of fuel gauge showing.

No but have lowered the tank so it is level but still no reading .

Have taken pipes off filter and switched on ignition but got no fuel from either pipe or any reading on fuel gauge car had £20 of diesel in tank .

Hi guys.have checked fuel lines all clear .belts look good I'm trying to get hold of the coloured plastic clips that hold fuel pipes to top of in tank pump.then I can refit tank fill with fresh fuel and bleed system.

Can you give me the part number for the fuel pump pipe connectors at top of fuel pump the ones that the fuel pipes push into one is black and other grey but have seen other colour ones.

Story is got car as project. Would turn over but not start. Checked fuel pressure at valve while cranking engine and even though can hear pump in tank did not get any reading at valve.so have now changed fuel filter for landrover one and I'm now going to change low pressure pump in tank.then see...
