Finished of putting in the new steering box , second hand steering pump, new belt . took it for a run an all is well. Just the fog lamp earthing prob to sort.

The fog light on my 90 keeps blown fuses as soon as it's switched on. Pulled out the light conection at the back of the 90 but still blows fuse when I try the switch. Is it an idea to run a new wire from the fuse box to the switch , then from the switch to the light. Should this solve the...

Cheers fanatic tried that but ended up going to my local blacksmith and he sorted the thread and union. S o the steering box is in and new belt fitted. Is all now fine.:D

cheers guys but it's sorted, there was pipe ends in both the threaded holes, that was the prob . didn't relize till Igot the box back out n had a look again :o:doh::behindsofa: so only left with getting the smaller of the two threaded holes sorted cause there's a bit damage to that , so that...

I'm needeing the pipe from the resevior to the steering box and the other pipes that run from the pump. I've just found out that millatry power steering is differant from the civvie box as it uses bigger fittings and here was me thinking all 4 bolt boxs were the same. Or is it the n/a type power...

replaced the blown fuse for the fog light , and tightened up the bottom shock bushes on the ninety jist the recon steering box and pan hard bushes to do.

took the pan hard rod off to renew the bushes n taken the steering box off as its leeking , the seals have had it.

fitted a new washer pump and wipers so hope thats all it needs for mot.

No new parts each time:D like the thinking. So yet another new m/ cylinder slave, cylinder flexi hose, fresh dot 4 fluid and this time new pipe work not as tidy as land rover but still its working. the master thats been replaced was totaly goosed , bits of rubber seal in the chamber and the rod...

LT77 gearbox. seals keep giving in .DOT 4 fluid. Starts off with soft feeling pedal so bleed what air is in the system then all is fine for a while then soft pedal starts again then within a matter of a few miles it looses all preasure but have got home . The fluid always looks like its years...

towed the 90 home as the clutch mater cylnder \ slave cylinder hav givin up

bled its clutch ,cause its went abit soggy. that'll do the now :D

put some bio deisel in the tank , that's it fur today

you can fill in the engine detail on the log book and send it into the dvla , they'll send you out a new one, jist let your insurance company know that its had a replacement engine , there should be no probs , i never had any.

fitted new rubber gearbox mounts , still vibrates so going to call it character

replaced both rear wheel cylinders and put new pads in the front callipers but havin to get to new brake pipes as well . changed the filters and put in new engine oil. so its still on the axel stands.

withe rocket feul your usin do you need to change gear now :D. thats a bummer hope its no going to be to fiddley
