Hello All! I've got a 1994 Discovery 3.9 V8i auto, of which I am breaking. Pretty much everything is available. It has 89000 miles. Engine/gearbox/transfer box all in good condition. Both diffs in good condition no whining. Has electric seats but the leather is in bad condition...

Is the alternator still available?

Seems to have stopped, it had been sat for about a year. Gave it a once over and then a blast down the road, the blue smoke has stopped but was throwing out quite a bit of black smoke which I found to be the pipe from the turbo to the fuel pump being disconnected! Cheers all for suggestions!

Hello All! I've just bought a 1997 Discovery (for not a lot of pennies), has the 300tdi engine. It had been sat for about a year, it starts first time everytime, doesn't smoke at idle, doesn't overheat either. When It is revved up it smokes blue, the harder you rev the more smoke you get...

Any pics of the 8 spokes with the BF's? Ta

Not really done alot to the discovery, broke the rear diff last week, so instead have been ordering bits like extended breathers for the Axles and a new spring for the door latch :)

I replaced one of my stub ends last week, which i think is for a 24 spline as it had the needle bearing where as the old one didn't! That was on the nearside, guess ill have to find another one!

It would appear its an axle breather issue, the breather pipe had snapped off the banjo on top of the axle and was blocked! Got some new breather pipes on order !
