If it is the seat that has broken and the tilt mechanism is okay you can fit a 5 door seat to he 3 door tilt mechanism

Time for an update. Got all the front end back together. Then made a start on the passenger side sill..... Took ages to strip out the interior and then stated to drill out the spot welds Decided to remove the rear ¼ panel to make things...

Apologies for the lack of updates..... Going on holiday and then returning to continuous torrential rain meant that I hadn’t done any more for a month. Managed to get some bits done this weekend. In my last post I realised that there was something missing here as there was nothing to secure...

Hoping someone can help? Have been rebuilding the front end of the disco which has included fitting new light boxes so have changed from original 200 shape Full thread here Got to the stage of fitting new 300 shape headlamps indicators grill etc. Not sure on the headlamp fixings there were...

Update.... The weather held so made some progress Onto the home straight for this stage now..... Support bar plug welded and dressed back Zinc Primed Brake pipe bracket fitted All joints seam sealed Another coat of primer on top...

Well I only intend to do this once so thought I would try and do as much as possible as I went Cheers Matt Picked up one of those pop up gazebo's this week so I can try and get some more done this weekend even if it rains. Will do more pics this weekend as I go

Yes, you just pull tight and then tighten the bolt to grip the steel cable, just like on a brake cable of a bicycle

Weekend update... The weather held out long enough today for me to make some progress. Finished painting chassis rail Light box / body mount bolted back on. Plug welded, dressed back and sprayed with Zinc rich primer New inner wing clamped into position...

Not repaired the rear yet so no pics. The floor i patched up last year but will redo when I am doing the sills. I would cut out the floor beneath pedals first then fit inner and outer sill then make up and fit patch for whatever was left

I got the Fertan from a 4x4 show but you can order it online. You're not far from me so if you do come south of the river then the paint supplier I linked to for that Sigma is only 5-10 mins from the Dartford bridge. I did a check online it is normally about £35 for a tin, but their cash price...

If you have been following my rebuild thread you will know my Mig Welder stopped working so I upgraded it as I needed it to be able to get on. Have now managed to get the part needed and fitted it today and it is now working again so thought I would offer it up here before sticking it on ebay...
