whot it is james is i have a 200, and im fitting a 300tdi ,BUT i am putting in the 300 gear box as well, now i know if you fit the 300 to the defender lt77 gear box it will sit a lot futher back, now having the 300 gear box with the longer bell housing the engine by my reconing should sit some...

i had a snorkal kit on trouble was one of the hoses had splitt and i hadnt realised, thats where the water got in

james ive been told your the man for all things lanrover lol just wondered if you could help, i took a load of water on my 200tdi defender and have bent con rods, is there a way of getting the ladder rack/plate off the bottom of the engine without taking the dam thing out, many thank if ya can...

how the hell do you get the ladder plate off the bottom of a 200tdi defender engine, there must be another way apart from taking the engine out!
