insurance already sorted no problem at all .didn't even put the premium up.

Its not the fitting ,thats easy its keeping its historic status and how far i can go with it i/e intercooler ,oil cooler etc

The early 90,s Steering column lock mechanism fit series 3 diesel . Got one and it fits . May have to wire up don't know yet .Don't believe some suppliers who say no way will it fit. About £40

I looked at and some sites seem to suggest the Early 90,s fit but the terminals are different any body know the truth thanks
