MOT failed on my 90, 3 lots of rust/rot on the chassis. Not had a chance to see where yet as I'm abroad. Always one for learning a new skill, so thinking of a welding course. Annoyingly, can't find anything part-time and local. Not that bothered about getting a certificate, so are there...

This is on my list to do, front is saggy and ripped etc. (extra complication for me is sunroof). Think i'll make this my next project, will keep an eye on thread for tips and tricks :)

Ha, I just read another online shop that has it at 93mm. So, i'm just going to go with it. Whack it back on and monitor over the next few days. It will soon tell me if it's not right i'm sure... ;)

92mm is STC4807. I need 90mm. Well who the hell knows. Maybe I have a Lamborghini front prop ;)

I can see 75mm, 82mm, 92mm and 95mm....just not 90mm. So, maybe it is a 92mm and things will be ok....

The one I took off was 90mm, but I cannot for the life of me find a confirmed part number for a 90mm UJ! I wondered if the 2mm difference with this new one was down to wear etc. but the fact it was a bugger to press home and is now a tad stiff, just confirms to me that it should be 90mm!

Given her a good pumping of lube, still quite stiff even after a bash from behind. If the UJ is the wrong size and the cups are binding on the tops of the pin rollers, or the circlips aren't engaged 100%... what would the worst scenario be...?!?

Righto. Will grease her up and give her tap when I get in. I am slightly dubious that one cut lip isn't fully seated. Maybe a little love tap will help
