Exactly! 1 stand on the nearside and 1 on the offside. Then use jack to manipulate the axle to getthe arm in and out You should never only use 1 stand and lift the vehicle. The stand will move and the car could drop.

That was the place I put mine. I put the 2 under at the same point either side. Do each arm individually. Use your trolley jack to support the arm on assembly. Put a small chamfer on the rear bushes. It will help get the arm in enough to get the nut and washer started.

It wasn't working so I replaced the lot. Then still didn't work so I left it. Then one day it suddenly started to work. Always loved cruise. :D:D:D Terrible at low speeds though. Set it at 30 and it goes up to 32 cuts the throttle and comes back in at 28 :D:D:D:D:D

Could also be a shot shock absorber. Got the same thing on mine. Discs have less then 1500 miles and are perfect. But did notice a bit of seeping from those on the nearside. Time to change all 4.

The plug for the phone by the sub is for the land rover phone that was an option years and years ago. Expensive and crap.

Cool beans! Got sounds in the beast! Thanks to another post, took the sat nav drive from the boot and it worked fine! Now just need another sub. Like the idiot I am. I sold it thinking that I was going to change the whole system. :banghead::banghead: So now to send the drive to Romania...

You only need a few '0' size pozi drives in the holes. Don't need to remove the stereo. Its tge drive you want out of the boot. Drivers side.

IF you can find the correct amp. You need the part number off the old one. Later version should be XQK100340. And no, other versions won't work. Been there, tried that.

Nice! White screen on sat nav is the player screwed in the boot. Guy in Europe repairs them for about £60. No sound and other issues with stereo means that the DSP amp is shot. £450+. Or you could be lucky and just have a wire off the back. Sound for the sat nav runs through the dsp too...

You could always try island 4x4.
