Ive recently bought a p38a v8 and got a few quotes at 1500,1600 plus even from flux which everyone says is cheap. I am 26 bb5 area with a 1996 range rover 4 litre v8 standard no mods no accidents and 6 years no claims and i'm a postman is their something I am doing wrong

yeah in the end I made a new live and earth feed off cd player wires with a inline fuse in just incase.

I don't have enough posts to post in wanted section, I am just wondering if anyone has a spare drivers side manifold a p38a 4.0 v8 1996

Should be fun might put a new from live to cigarette socket from radio live and put a inline fuse in will be easier

Fuse 8 is okay and I had ignition radio working etc if I take fuse 8 out radio stops working will sort relay out tomorrow we're is the becm relay

Just wondering if anyone has any ideas a penny managed to get stuck in my cigarette light and I'm guessing it shorted across the terminals and stopped working, so I've replaced the fuse but still no power, I've checked the plug behind and it seems fine but the test lamp is showing no power.

Cheers will give it A try tomorrow least it will hopefully be a reasonably easy fix at worst a new manifold

checked tyres cleaned all tread out still did it afterwards

Just wondering what kinda price will I be looking at to change the timing belt on the 4.0 v8 are is it quite easy to do yourself.

Going to have a look on Saturday I do t think 210 is too bad as I've been quoted 160 to repair the drivers seat

ive managed to get guy down from £300 to £210 for fully reconditioned p38a leather interior and its electric is this a good price but will only knock £25 for my interior so if I decide to buy it goes on ebay

Will have a look into what is different on the seat rails etc . If its mega work will have to get my seats re trimmed/repaired
