If they can be driven off the production line under their own steam they're doing well!
That's why I like V8 petrols. The money you spend not fixing them easily pays for the extra fuel they use!
On eBay yesterday I made an offer on a tyre changer and wheel balancer. It was accepted and I arranged to collect it at 4:45pm on Tuesday. Got another e-mail later saying he couldn't guarantee it would still be there then as he had recieved other interest. I told him to stick it and have gone...
Bargain buy and good work!
My 1997 Discovery V8 doesn't have so much of a hint of rust anywhere thankfully! It did when I bought it, but not much. The rear bumper and both sills were the only parts that actually needed replacing though.
I've never got a wave! Guess it's unlikely in my Discovery. Living in a rural area Land Rovers are a very common sight. Never got a wave in my old SIII either!
I've read the Britpart horror stories, but never had an issue with any of their parts personally. Never used anything electrical though and they seem to be the worst parts!
Used them previously, but wasn't impressed.
Had my Discovery waxoyled, stonechipped and all the underside components painted in rust proof paint elsewhere and it's perfect.
