Pulled most of the dash out and located areas for missing screws ....should cure aome rattling. Tomorrow i'll test the series seals and see if they have cured my footwell leaks

Took most of the dashboard out to fix electrics and source a leak....and found these.....those that know what they are should have found memories

Had plans but crap weather stopped play... Got my td5 rear door home. Need to strip and prepare for paint. But will fit it all up fitst to make sure. Need to buy td5 electrical connecter for wirring first. Also got some series vent seals and tiger seal . See if it improves the leaky...

washed it and found water ****ing in from somewhere behind the dash, kind of explains my wet footwell a bit better.....so best start stripping me dash down to sort it!:(

due to the delights of drunken ebay.....I now own a 2008 td5 rear door complete!:D Mates collecting it tomorrow! May of over spent so canna buy anything else tae after Kenya! balls!:(

replaced gasket on turbo oil return pipe to block. Tried to dislocate my finger and wrist in the process!:rolleyes:....and it still leaks!:(

Had a spare hour so fitted my new injectors. The copper washers i got were pump:mad: so fitted the old ones again..take her fur a test drive later. Removed all my drivers carpet and bulkhead rubber. Trying to locate the source of water?:confused:....and undone a bolt under the dash for the door...

since folk are throwing up old recovery photos here's some of mine,

i enjoy working otherwise I get bored, so the hours don't bother me. I have spent days awake on task to get the job done and then driven back. That will be my downfall, drivers hours and the working day. We still pay lip service to it in the army. As I mentioned the civilian industry is making...

what is the chances of both key fobs having broken solder at the same time....it did ...after wee bit of soldering my neighbours are no longer being deafened!.....onto the next job!:rolleyes:

cheers ratty, I,ve been doing this for 16 years wea the military. Foden EKA, Man Svr, Seddon atkinsons and the armoured variants. Moved everything from landrovers to Chinoocks. I love the job and thought about doing it in civilian street. but I do ken its hard to get into. Winch's and cranes...

what type of recovery? heavy, light, slide backs? an what company. only asking as I,ve 6 years left doing this job and I,m looking into heavy recovery in civilian street!

Lads need some help before the neighburs go mental. Went out to defender this morning and when i closed the door it alarmed itself. After some faffing around i got the alarm off and i drove off. Thought maybe damp was to blame. Same sketch after work so went and bought new batterirs for fobs...

cheers for the photo, seen quite a few clubman series trailers for sale thought they were smaller than they actually are...might have to follow that direction....where did you find the range rover a bush?:eek:
