They're driving lights, not fog lights, hence they only come on with full beam. The bulbs are H3's. I went through similar ponderings recently thinking my 'fogs' weren't working...put full beam on and all became clear. Pun intended.

You're right - selected full beam and pressed the switch on the dash...and one driving light burst into life. Will check the connector on the other one as this felt suspect when I was fitting the new lamps, then hoefully both will work. Thanks again guys.

I'm trying to change a split radiator top hose on my '93 LSE 4.2, but everywhere I've tried tells me it's obsolete. Surely someone must still make one that fits?

Thanks pal. From what I can tell, she's led a fairly charmed life down in Essex, and from what I can see it's never been off road. It also has LR main dealer service history until fairly recently. It could have been a disaster...but I'm happy.

Cheers Fett, took it on a run today and it stayed cool, but it'll be a while before I can take my eyes off the temp gauge. Got the cooler from fleabay...there's a few for sale on there at the moment. There's even a new one that someone's selling.

It's an obvious leak from the cooler itself behind the grill - can see fluid dripping out. I've chemical metal'd it until the new one arrives.
