    P38A EAS Compressor Kits - X8R vs 4x4AirSeals

Hi Keith, that was what I thought originally but the one I am running at the moment has done 4yrs so far, when you install the flat one it forms to the cup shape and seems to give a much better fit/seal. They supply a tool (of sorts) to install it correctly so that it forms the right shape

    P38A EAS Compressor Kits - X8R vs 4x4AirSeals

I just looked into my box of bits and it appears that the piston rings from both suppliers look the same as far as I can see, they are both the flat version with no cup shape and the materials seem the same too

    P38A EAS Compressor Kits - X8R vs 4x4AirSeals

I had this thought the other day and I am sure someone must have tried it. If you were to get a standard large capacity suspension compressor, wire it from the loom of the P38s and then tee into the old compressors outlet would that not fool the system into believing it was filling the tank from...

    P38A EAS Compressor Kits - X8R vs 4x4AirSeals

I've used both, TBH could not really judge one against tother, the only thing I thought when buying was the extra items that the X8R set comes with and the cylinder seemed a tad better. I have a couple of chrome steel cylinders that I have had for a while so I haven't had to use either sellers...

Try James Coleman (Range Rover P38 UK) on https://www.facebook.com/groups/314522172231316/ One of the P38 facebook pages, he is a very trusted seller he may have a replacement and is very, very quick. You can also buy replacement micro switches, Marty use to do replacements on here but I think...

    P38A Tailgate

I am probably sure nobody would want it but I have an upper tailgate that I am going to be taking to the tip as I have fitted a replacement. It has the usual rusty bit above the number plate but would be repairable and the whole unit would need repainting etc, the glass is fine. There are no...

I have been trying to find the pinout detail with the wire description for the RH white connector behind the footwell. P38A Brake issue

I just had my rear calipers replaced a couple of weeks ago and a full brake bleed to replace the old fluid. I am noticing that each time I switch the ignition on now that the brake pump runs for a lot longer than it use to. It always use to run for a couple of seconds but now it is close to a...

Same as mine there Keith, I believe it is designed in to prevent grounding, access is purely what is says on the box, getting in and out. In my opinion I deffo would not take the risk m'self

    P38A Head gasket advice needed

I had a small gasket leak and used Prestone leak seal, has been as sound as a pound so far with no more coolant loss. I will eventually get the gaskets done but if the Prestone keeps working I will keep on trucking :)

P38A C Pillar (rear) external black colour restorer

Could work I would imagine, but due to bad experiences in the past I have steered clear of painting the Vinyl, I have just used Kiwi and so far so good 4 years in, I apply it a couple of times a year. Saves the hassle of masking and leaving masked lines

P38A C Pillar (rear) external black colour restorer

Hi Keith, I have done that to all of my other black plastic trims and so far they look bang tidy, I didn't risk it on the vinyl bit just in case. The black satin plastic paint is a much better solution to all of these "Back to Black" formulas (including wurth albeit a wurthy product..... :)
