I took my car to bush to get it tracked as I don't have the equipment for four wheel drive tracking. Hands up who have?

Surely the point of this forum is indeed to tackle the job yourself with the help of the generous community on here of which 99% are very helpful and don't come out with amoeba like comments.

By resetting the steering angle sensor do you mean refitting the steering wheel at position zero?

Front tyres are the same brand and seem to have equal wear . I was thinking more along the lines of a buckled wheel being a possibility ?

I think I'll refit the steering wheel using live data to position it.hen get it re tracked and see where that leaves me

My old p38 burnt out alls it's locks at once due to a wifi signal constantly waking the becm , I presume yours has had the RF upgrade ? But it may have been done after the licks burnt out?

It would seem that way but is it possible for the rack to try centre it's self ? Causing the pull?

Well at a stationary position to get a zero reading my steering wheel is at about 11.50 on a clock face

Does that mean the rack isn't necessarily central? Would it try to centre it's self when driven no hands on on wheel and therefore steer it's self offline? If you get my drift

Oh and only use a genuine filter not a crappy pattern part

I had it done at Bush so you would think a company like that would have the expertise to do it right? I might try somewhere else as well. Just one thought someone might be able to answer . When they do the tracking do they first centralise the steering wheel and assume this centres the rack? I...

I searched but couldn't find anything regarding calibration . Interestingly I've just been looking at the live data from the steering angle sensor on full left lock I have 13500 units and on full right lock 14700 units not sure if this is of any significance though :)

There's no loss of p.a.s fluid , so I doubt it's leaking

I think it has adjusters both sides, surly the steering wheel position is just cosmetic?

Yes td it is notchy!

I guess it could be a bearing but there's no unusual sounds coming from it

Can't see how the p.a.s could cause it? The steering isn't heavy . At stop it's easy to turn lock to lock
