    Clutch release bearing

Thanks Dave, luckily my business is restoring vintage British bikes so bronze bushes are the order of the day. The only thing which worries me is the price of DMF's if there's a problem in that area. The rest of the prices for bits are pleasantly not ott expensive... oh and that crank pulley...

    Retro fitting a passenger airbag

I was wondering if anyone has retro fitted a passenger airbag in a Disco 2. I'm lead to believe that the wiring is all in situ and it should be a simple matter if replacing the passenger grab handle with the said airbag. Any help much appreciated.

    D2 Facelift Headlights stolen too.

We can etch glass or plastic using our blasting cabinet if anyone can find suitable stencils. I hate thieves so much (I'm a motorcyclist) I do bloody well do it for free if people masked up their own lights. It would only take a minute or two.

    Clutch release bearing

Thanks for the advice DDC. There is an oil leak from the rear crankshaft oil seal which the seller neglected to mention too so we will have the box out when we have a weekend free but it's nice the be reassured that it is one of those quirky noises and nothing to have kittens about.

In fact he'd bought my Disco to nick the motor for a Defender but when he got the car home he...

    Disco workshop manual

Thanks Dave got it now, big relief and just getting familiarised before I get out there and start checking things out. This is the first TD I've owned and a hell of a lot more sophisticated than the last diesel... an ancient LDV 3 1/2 tonner lol Thanks again for the help.

    Disco workshop manual

After trawling through the entire RAVE thingumy I still couldn't find a proper workshop manual for the TD5 motor. I have to admit to feeling a little worried after someone in another forum told me that there is no conventional workshop manual for the TD5. Perhaps I've missed something but I did...

    Hi from Tamworth

Hi I'm Sophie from Tamworth. I run a classic and vintage motorcycle repair and restoration business and have just bought my first Discovery TD5 as our everyday car and to tow our selection of trailers. They do kind of grow on you don't they, we've only had her a short time and she's part of the...
