EGR blanked off years ago. I'll try the MAF...

I haven't done yet. What to look for? I'm going to have to go and see if I can get it to start again...

No - certainly not intentionally. What is bewildering is why would it run and then cut out

Why will it run okay and then just cut out? That is my question. Should I bleed off all the injector pipes? Do they not bleed themselves once running via spill off pipes?

PS I've got a Nanocom but have a bit of difficulty really knowing how to use it other than to check modulation. It doesn't show any errors in ECU

Morning all, 2.5 DT was running well but irritating leak from FIP so thought I'd have a look. Realized that there was nothing much I could do, so put the manifold etc back on. Then it wouldn't start. Tested fuel solenoid - ok. Eventually got it going with a blast of easy start into the manifold...

Thank you so much for this! I've been trying to get Rave back for weeks. That last link worked, and then, as Saint V8 suggested, by going into Rave Application - Properties - Compatibility ,and changing it to Windows 98/me, it now works again on the (Windows 10) laptop :)

Thanks Roller. :)Yes very much still about and driving it! Took the back seats out at the start of lockdown (no passengers) and so we've now got a real comfy bed goes in the back. Stayed in it a few times after music sessions/parties/**** ups. Put a battery, split charger and inverter in too...

Just got MOT after replacing track rod and drag link. Pleased (surprised too) to see that emissions are really low - .2 , limit 2.8. :) Confirms my view that it is a 'green' car. 20 years old and clean(ish) A couple of advisories including a leaking steering box which was an exchange one put on...

I did this a few weeks ago... Get into the tail flap. The two wires going into the switch (with the wee plug on). Splice new wires into those and take them to wherever you want the new switch. (I just wanted to be able to open the back from the inside...) You need a contact and release type...
