Yeah pedals hard. I've just replaced the master cylinder which made no difference

I'll get wheels off and check calipers, pedals hard. I've got a valve I can fit. The engines running well so I doubt I've got vacuum leak. This had been a problem since I rebuilt landy. I'm tempted to replace discs and calipers for later vented 110 ones. It spoils the truck.

I rebuilt calipers and they were free. It brakes straight theres no pull to one side or other

Original v8. It's got a new servo. When I start it with my foot on pedal the pedal does go down more. And with engine off I can hear it release. One question should i have a one way valve inline or is that in the servo where hose connects

Sorry for vague post. It's a 1986 v8 90. All original it has a g-valve I think on chassis rail. Drums on back solid early discs on front. My brakes are still shocking I have the large rear brake balancer on chassis rail. My question is I believe this Is faulty can I remove it as it looks like later landrovers do not have this fitted.

Yes your right. Until id pulled head all was looking ok lol.

Its in water jacket i think. I think cylinder was full of water and froze. Bottom end is good. So im not sure why it was abandoned. Someone had started to strip it down years ago.

Ummm looks like it froze and knocked a hole in side of bore.

I think this might be rebore job. Been a good 12 years in the open it all went down carb no filter was attached. Heads going need some work!

Got motor out it had around 6lts of water in it as well as oil. Think im going to have to beat out pistons Pictures are doing my head in rotated it before upload. Got sell the turbo mx5 to fund the s2 rebuild

The 90 was in a worse state lol. Im off on holiday so will have to wait till i get back to really know how bad it is. Missing front panel which is a pain. But most of it is there. Lh front wing is scrap really maybe save top. Engine i think is full of water :(
