Thank you. Unfortunately the Icarsoft won't select the radio on the menu just throws up an error message. I'd like to just complete take out the whole system and put in another system.

I'm just looking for a reconditioned one now. I bought a second hand one off ebay. But in all fairness it could be broke. So I'm going to look for one which has been reconditioned, fingers crossed it works.

It's OK for general bits, clearing faults etc. It's going in Sunday to have the new gearbox done. At least it'll be driveable then :)

Absolutely! Both amps emit the red light on the fibre optics port. But only one allows me to select the CD changer when plugged in, just no sound. Very difficult. Missing the TD5 already :D. Not sure what else to do at this point.

Just a ebay one. But could be a broke one Hard to know what to buy as some are probably busted old ones. :D

Update. The rear Most module, new AMP is all wired up and sending and transmitting the red optical light. But still no sound. :mad:. Fuses in the glove box are all OK. Is there any other fuses. :)

Thank you, I've read somewhere about a micro fuse in the radio module controls sounds too. It was getting dark quick last night. So I'll have another look today.

Am I right in saying that if the red light is emitting from the optic wires at the rear then the rest leading up to the IHU and display will be OK?

Amp is all connected, just need to get in and have a look at the touch screen and IHU:)

The radio works tunes into stations etc. Just no audio. :(.

Thank you very much, I did buy another amp as the original looked water damaged and wasn't producing any red light from the fibre optics port. The part at the bottom where is says it won't work if the systems doesn't recognise the serial number of a part. How would you input the serial number...

It does have the touch screen and logic 7 Harmon Kardon. :)

So connected the amp to the MOST ring. It will allow to select a CD now but still not sound.

Checked tonight, slight bit of water in the wheel well but not alot. Battery was flat so I'm assuming that casuing some voltage gremlins Erased fault codes and the compressor fired up its not sitting at normal height. So a new battery is now added to the list of jobs haha
