Just to let everyone know £140 prop from ebay fitted plus £50 labour and all ok - better than a new one for £900 plus fitting.

Blimey I was thinking of selling my immaculate 58 plate 90 with aircon and central locking with 28,000 miles on the clock for £11,500 - think I will have to have a rethink.

Mike mine does exactly the same between 50 and 60 - put it down to balancing on large tyres - had them rebalanced and slightly better but basically still the same. I just try not to drive at that speed!!.

Just got the nod for the trip to Namibia - 110 needs to be in a container on 18 April - so going to be tight - plan to get back from Morocco on 4 April and have already booked in for repairs and servicing on 5 April - nothing like a bit of advance planning.

The dumper is the best bit of kit in the barn - now the hydraulics work though its a bit scary when the steering wheel lifts off whilst driving it The 110 is all ready to go and back in the barn after its MOT - its 20 years old today so gave it a brisk wash and clean inside.

Rear prop taken off and both bearing and u/j bad - so purchased secondhand prop from ebay for £140 - hope its going to be ok.

Many thanks for that - that's solved that dilemma - well best get the propshaft off first then to see what's wrong!!. Wonder if secondhand props on ebay will be any good.

Had it up on ramps and am told the problem is the rear prop shaft centre bearing has gone - but am told these can't be sourced separately so a new prop shaft needed at nearly £900. However I have found the prop shaft centre bearing can be purchased for about £40 - when I relayed this message to...

The reserve 110 is waiting for a transfer box to be fitted and the 90 is half way through welding up the chassis.

Tucked up in the corner of the barn for 10 weeks - seems a shame to get it out for an mot tomorrow. (ignore the date in the picture - still haven't found out how to delete it)
